PLLC „AG International bartenders centre“ is the first professional bartenders school in Lithuania, using the most modern training techniques, the only one WFA attested school in Baltic countries issuing international level WFA diploma.

We seek for high-quality, so we teach guys and girls, beginners and already experienced in this field. Training program is constantly evolving to keep pace with the global-level rise, instructors qualify abroad. Since this year our team is joined by somelje (wine expert) and barista (coffee expert) masters.

The students completed our course are among the best in their profession in Lithuania, they work in popular night clubs and bars in neighboring and foreign countries, show high performance in bartenders competitions.

Professional BARTENDER

The role of a bartender isthe participation in bar operation and service in accordance with state laws and institutions of the atmosphere. He meets, informs, advises clients, adopts and carrys out orders. Two of the main incentives, motivating behavior ofa bartender - bar profitability and customer satisfaction.
Barman monitors thatdrinks correspond customers taste, cares for health and safety requirements, holdsthe spirit of surrender to authorities.

He also monitors the beverage stocks to decide the issues in purchasing, maintains the equipment. Controls over cash transactions. Is involved into drinks choice and drinks menu making.

 

Professional bartenders features

  •          Bartender has to be well instructed in drinks presentation rules, be able to work with bar tools and accessories.
  •          He must have a thorough knowledge in all classic cocktails, to know their proportions and the variants, as well as be able to prepare bar's brand cocktails.
  •          Has to be interested in recent trends in order to meet customer needs.
  •          Drinks experience is obligatory in this work, it helps while meeting with suppliers, making bar menu and stock fulfilling.
  •          Bartender has to be honest and responsible man. During working hours not to abuse alcohol and look flawless. Not to talk much to colleagues, wear clean clothes and shoes. Not have any unnecessary items in his pockets. Take care of hands and nails that are always clean and tidy.
  •          Must be well-mannered and respect the rules of etiquette. Be able to listen to his client, but always maintain a distance. Customers stories keep in professional secrecy. If client is already drunken– reduce alcohol percentage in his drinks or refuse his orders. Always try to avoid conflict situations. 
  •           Even if he is a show-barmen, he should never forget that cocktail taste is same important as the way it was prepared and its good taste.
